The procedure the carers would take in regards to new admissions is to have prospective parents visit on a weekday morning to view and discuss the proposed childcare arrangement.

COVID-19 has changed the living and working way entirely. The carers are unable to currently offer their usual visiting procedure to each prospective parent who enquires for a childcare place. 

Department of Education has produced guidance on how early years childcare providers should manage their setting during the pandemic, which the carers are adhering to.

"Settings should restrict all visits to the setting to those that are necessary and make use of remote visits wherever possible.

Settings should work with parents to ensure parents still have visibility of the childcare environment during this time, including through the use of remote visits, pictures and phone calls"

This website has therefore been produced by Quality Childcare to give prospective parents an in sight into their setting in a safe way. 

They hope that with the information they have provided on this website along with parental testimonies on their childcar​​k profile, steps can be taken as to whether they can provide and meet your childcare needs. 

Additional support to help with making a decision is for the carers and prospective parents to have a video call on a weekday morning.

This can be arranged through the contact form.

It can also be arranged for you to have a profile made on their online system. You shall be able to view in full the childcare policies, procedures and permissions, the childcare contract that you shall have in place, how your child's learning and development shall be recorded, the day to day features you can expect to receive on your child's day in their care and documents relating to Health & safety, OFSTED & the Early Years Foundation Stage.

To gain access to the system you shall be required to fill out in full a Starter Form, which you can enquire for through the Contact Form.

The carers shall communicate with prospective parents every step of the way from initial contact.

A registration fee, which will be a payment of your proposed 2 week childcare fee will be required on accepting a childcare place. Your registration fee is refundable when you have given and paid the required termination period.

Once your registration fee has been received you shall receive an email with an attachment of your ​Childcare Confirmation Letter and Settling In schedule.

The settling in schedule shall give details of the free period that is granted, days and times for settling in your child. The carers aim to schedule the settling in around your child's current routine. Completing the Questionnaire on the online system gives the carers information about your child's routine and their likes/dislikes. This enables the best care for your child from the start as vital information has been shared.

One parent will be required to spend up to 1 hour on the first day of settling.
